Paris and Nicky Hilton partied it up in Las Vegas this weekend. The girls looked like they had a great time, dancing and singing all night long. They hopped from LAX Nightclub inside Luxor to PURE at Caesars Palace.
Also in attendance were Kevin Federline (with his parents!), recording artist Nas, actress Dania Ramirez, TV personalities Frankie Delgado and Brody Jenner, as well as many other celebs. Paris got into it as she sang, “Do you think I’m sexy?”, provocatively danced and posed for pictures.
Paris glittered all night in magenta scoop-neck sequined dress, while Nicky looked just adorable in her shimmery white number. I really love the ruffle at the bottom.
Paris could have done better in the shoe department. Her black pumps don’t do the rest of her outfit justice. Nicky, on the other hand, wore a pair of strappy silver sandals that were perfect for the occasion.
I can’t wait to see what the girls are doing (and wearing!) tonight!
Paris and Nicky are hosting what’s dubbed sin city’s “Biggest Party of the Year” tonight at LAX Nightclub to ring in the New Year.

As Lindsay Lohan shops in Capri, Italy, she looks comfortable and chic. Lindsay dresses in all black from her big sunglasses to her leather boots. All black is a good look if you mix it up with different colored accessories. Lindsay does that will her oversized bag but she could use a little more color. I’m still not sure why these huge bags are popular - what’s in the there? Your laptop? Lunch?
Outside of your cell phone, credit card and a maybe a lipstick to glam up, what do you need while you’re shopping? I just don’t get it. To me, a clutch or a small hobo bag is big enough.
Anyway, back to Lindsay. She’s in the news this week again regarding her accident in 2005, when she drove her Benz into a van and injured its driver, Raymund Ortega. Lindsay is being sued for negligence by Ortega, a busboy, who stays that he saw Lindsay (who was underage back then) have a few drinks at the popular Ivy restaurant prior to the crash. Lindsay denies that she was drinking.
“I did not consume an alcoholic beverage or any type of medication or drug” before or during a stop at the Ivy, Lohan states in court papers filed last week.
Ortega is seeking $200,000 in damages. Lindsay is actually counter-suing Ortega, stating he was at fault because he made an illegal U-Turn.
We’ll see, how this one goes. They’ll probably settle out of court.
In the meantime back in Italy, maybe Lindsay can pick up a smaller bag and a pair of colorful boots to add a little pizazz to her shopping outfit.

When Dania Ramirez attended “The Family Comes Together for The Holidays Sopranos Reunion to Benefit Some of Our Own” at Mirage Night Club in New York last week, she looked super cute in this fabulous grey fur hat.
I’m a hat person, so I love when a celebrity pulls off a hat well. Unlike David Beckham in this picture, Dania actually looks terrific. Dania, a native of the Dominican Republic, stars in the NBC hit series “Heroes” as Maya Herrera. She was also on “The Sopranos” and appeared in the third installment of the X-Men movies, “X-Men: The Last Stand” this summer.
The key to wearing a fur hat like this one Dania is wearing is to make sure the rest of your outfit is coordinated well. A well placed scarf, a fur trimmed jacket and a great pair of boots are a must for looking great in a winter hat.
I prefer jackets that are fur trimmed, as opposed to all-over fur, just because with a fur cap or scarf, adding a fur (or faux fur) coat might just be too much.
As for footwear, fur-trimmed boots are the perfect complement to pull the whole outfit together. You can choose flat boots, or high heel boots. But walk carefully in high heels if you are going to be treading on icy sidewalks.

As Kate Hudson was braving the snow to do some shopping, she looks very cute in her jeans and snow boots.
If you are dealing with some harsh weather, you can still look stylish by wearing the right outfit. You can go wrong with a cute (faux) fur coat and skinny jeans tucked into boots.
Another chic look is to wear a knit or wool mini-dress with a pair of tall boots and tights. Don’t forget to wear a hat. Most of your body’s heat is lost through the head and feet. So as long as you keep those areas covered and warm, you should be able to handle any type of weather.
Choose boots that are weather proof to protect your feet from the elements. Ulu boots are a good choice if you are dealing with a lot of snow. They offer dual protection through a water proof upper anda waterproof inner bootie liner. You can shop all day and still keep warm and dry!

Everybody knows Ugg boots can be worn with just about everything. But what do you think about wearing them with pajamas?
Here Jamie Lynn Spears and her mom, Lynne arrive at the airport to do a little holiday traveling. The mommy-to-be Jamie Lynn is wearing a hooded sweatshirt, pajama shorts and lovely pink Ugg Boots.

I’m not saying that she should get dressed up just to get on a plane, but she could have done better than this.
Speaking of the Spears family, I hope you didn’t miss Britney’s antics this weekend.
Bra-less Britney, wearing a red top, jeans and brown boots, began her evening by stopping her car and trying to take a photo of a roadside mural. When the paparazzi were in her way, Britney went into a tirade, cursing out the photographers and smashing her own camera.
After leaving the scene, she had to return because she had dropped her memory card. That’s when things got crazy. Britney leaves in a car with one of the photogs and reportedly raced through the streets at 120MPH.
Later that night, she donned her famous pink wig, an ugly leopard mini-dress and a pair of pumps as she headed to the Peninsula Hotel with the photographer.
Catch the video of all of Britney’s antics:

Ashlee Simpson looked cute here as she visited MTV’s “TRL” earlier this week.
Obviously, she was going for the 80’s look but Ashlee could have left the arm warmers at home. If you are wearing a sleeveless top and arm warmers, you should probably just put on a sweater.
Nevertheless, she’s adorable. The layered tops, leggings and ankle boots are terrific tribute to the fashions of the decade.
Ankle boots stand the test of time season to season. This winter, you can wear these booties with everything from jeans to a mini dress with tights.
It was supposed to be Ashlee’s big day as her “Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)” video debuted. However, she was overshadowed by all the 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy talk.
Here’s Ashlee’s new video, in case you missed.

Members of PETA staged a “nude” protest in front of M&M’s World Headquarters in Time Square today. They painted themselves from head to toe in the colors of M&M’s.

PETA’s beef (pun intended) with M&M’s is actually with Mars Candy Company, who owns the brand. According to PETA, Mars is funding animal testing and research in order to improve their products.
I have always thought that PETA was wacky. But lately, I’ve seen these “nude” protests by PETA members popping up all over the country.
News flash, girls - wearing panties and flip flops, plus covering your body in paint doesn’t mean you are nude.
A few month’s back here in town, they had another “nude” protest. They even sent out press releases a week ahead of time to encourage the media and the public to come out and see their nudity … err, protest.
Of course, everyone flocked to the event, only to see them, all covered up.
And what’s with the flip flops anyway?! Every woman knows that if you are going to walk around in the nude (or very little clothes), you should be in strappy high heels!

Paris Hilton was spotted in West Hollywood on Monday in this very cute outfit. Though she looks a little windblown, the dress is adorable.
Separately, the pieces probably wouldn’t have looked that great. But, as she does more often than not, Paris puts them together very nicely.
The puffy sleeved white knit top goes well with the flirty plaid dress. (We certainly are seeing a lot of plaid right now). And she pulls it all together with dark hose and a ruby red shoe.
The shoes are actually sparkly red wedges. The color is reminiscent of the “Wizard of Oz.”
I really love that wedges continue to be in style. They can give you the height of a high heel without the pain. The wedge distributes your weight much better than a stiletto or other then heel. Therefore, it makes walking easier and leaves you with little pain at the end of the day.
Though wedges don’t look quite right with formal wear, you can get away with wearing them with just about everything else - from jeans to a mini-dress.

Actress Kate Walsh looked marvelous as she strutted her stuff on the red carpet at a “Private Practice” special screening in Madrid yesterday. “Private Practice” is the spin-off of “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Some Hollywood starlets should take a cue from Kate’s sophisticated glamour.
Her black sequin dress is simply gorgeous without being low-cut or too short. Her hair pulled away from her face accenuates her eyes and lips, but she’s not wearing too much makeup.
And she keeps her jewelry simple - just a pair of dangly earrings and simple gold bracelet. Class from head to toe.
And speaking of her toes, let’s not forget about the shoes! Here Kate wears a pair of black peep-toe T-strap sandals that go perfectly with her dress.
T-straps are very elegant for evening and can be worn with a basic black dress or a sizzling hot number like Kate is wearing.
Bravo Kate!
If you aren’t into T-straps, a black peep-toe slingback would also work nicely with this outfit.

Nicole Kidman arrived at the Australian Premiere of “The Golden Compass” in Sydney, Australia dressed in a shiny metallic suit. Though metallics are all the rage, this suit is just too much!
First of all, it looks a little small on her. For such a thin woman, that should be impossible. But the suit looks to binding her - particularly underneath the arms.
I would probably loved this outfit if she wore the jacket with a neutral pant. But the all-over shine of this suit makes it look really cheesy. She’s also wearing a cumberbund, which is one of the popular menswear accessories filtering into women’s fashions right now. However with this ensemble, maybe it should have been black.
Thumbs down, Nicole!
Instead of wearing metallics from head-to-toe, it’s best to wear them more subtly. If you want to wear a silver, gold or other other metallic jacket this holiday season, add it to a black dress or pant suit. Then accessorize with metallic shoes, handbags and jewelry.
A pair of silver strappy sandals can be a versatile piece to your wardrobe and a fashion essential this time of year. Also consider buying a metallic or sequined ballet flat for those times when you don’t want to wear heels, but still want to be glamorous.
Carry a small gold or silver evening bag, and finish off the outfit with a pair of simple hoop earrings.
