There’s just something about shoes that makes you feel good and there’s just something about these shoe commercials that makes you LOL. This collection of shoe commercials comes from around the world and some are a bit risqué while others tame enough that you can even send to your grandmother, but they’re all hilarious.

The Lugz “Nice” shoe commercial answers the age old question, “Do guys peek when they’re at the urinal?” And the answer apparently is. . .YES!

Nike’s hit a homerun with their “Tag” shoe commercial, some how it makes you wish the whole world took the time to play schoolyard games. And I dare you not to laugh at everyone hiding behind the garbage can. Look out for this guy or you might be IT.

This is one of those funny videos you maybe don’t want to pass along to your grandma, unless she has a great sense of humor. I get the punch line, but watch the guy’s facial expressions, I still think there’s a little something off about how much he is enjoying this program.

OUCH! Absolutely hilarious Reebok shoe commercial but really, that had to hurt, especially the guy playing solitaire.

Way to take an old joke and turn it into a great shoe commercial. Just love this commercial, and how did they get the lion to stop? Or did he stop?! (Insert ominous music here).

This Reebok shoe commercial really has almost nothing to do with shoes but it’s by far my favorite of the bunch. What’s not to love about watching a sumo-sized, almost-naked man dancing his heart out?

This commercial by Geox proves that humor is universal no matter what language you speak. And apparently people passing out from the smell of stinky feet is pretty funny everywhere too.

By the way, if you’re feeling inspired by these funny shoe commercials and want to strap on a new pair of shoes and create your own commercial, who knows we may one day feature it in our blog.

Paris Hilton Beach Shoes?

Well, it’s not the first time Paris Hilton looked ridiculous and I promise you it won’t be the last. Hilton and her latest beau, Doug Reinhardt, were spotted on Miami Beach recently and although Paris seemed to be beach ready in a bathing suit she looked ridiculous in a pair of pump heels.

The beach is just not the place to wear pumps, or heels at all. There are so many other fabulous shoe options out there, its hard to imagine she’d pick stiletto pumps for a day at the beach. Although Hilton’s own shoe line is woefully short on low heeled shoes, the Paris Hilton Goddess Sandal would have been a much more appropriate choice than the pumps she strapped on for a stroll down South Beach.

If Paris Hilton was willing to step outside of her personal brand of shoes, the UGG Australia Halendi Sandal would have been a perfect choice, it matches her bumble bee swimsuit, its looks very comfortable, and it’s an appropriate heel for the beach. In fact, this UGG shoe would be perfect to slip off and carry as you stroll down the beach.

On a side note, Doug Reinhart looks particularly beach ready in his Quicksilver board shorts which are perfect for a dip in the water or a walk on the sand. And speaking of perfect for a walk on the sand, Reinhart also is sporting a rather nondescript pair of white flip flops, much like these Ed Hardy Flip Flops, which are just perfect for the sand. Take note of how good Reinhart looks because it’s reported that the night before the couples’ beach stroll featured an altercation at a local club leaving Reinhart with a split lip. Hmmm?

So much is written about women’s fashions but what about men’s fashions? Staying on top of the fashion trends is as important for a man as it is for a woman. The key to being a dapper dude is knowing what style works best for you and where to get clothes that fit your look and your budget.

Men’s dressing trends don’t vary as much as women’s and if you adopt a classic look it’s easier to stay within your style boundary and it’s less of a stretch on your budget. Stay classic by purchasing well fitting clothes made of quality materials and then let your trendy side shine by adding inexpensive men’s accessories that are cutting edge and easily replaceable when the next fad comes along.

Finding men’s fashion that is timeless and features quality craftsmanship can be a bit daunting but shopping online has gotten much easier and you can skip the mall atmosphere by browsing these sites online.

Nordstrom

A classic store known for its quality merchandise, Nordstrom is a great place to find classic men’s suits and separates that you know are made by some of the best designers in the business. In addition to having work classics, Nordstrom also carries men’s casual clothing that is stylish enough to keep around for years. But there also is a fun side to Nordstrom and you can find men’s accessories that are trendy and cool as well as classics. Men’s accessories are a great way to add personality to your look.

Bluefly

If you’re looking for a more inexpensive way to get dressed, Bluefly.com carries quality designer clothing for less. You can easily put together a complete classic look with solid style and well fitting men’s pants, and a timeless dress shirt, perfect for work and play. But if your tastes are a little trendier, top the pants with an uber trendy Ed Hardy shirt.

Don’t forget to round out your look with a quality pair of shoes. Men are typically a little more reserved about their shoe purchases than women but men’s shoes can be just as uplifting as women’s shoes. Your closet should at least have a good pair of tennis shoes, black dress shoes, brown dress shoes, casual loafers and a fun trendy pair of shoes to show your sporty side.

With a good selection of these basic pieces from these trusted stores you are sure to have something for every situation and always look great.

Last spring it was all about the trenchcoat as fashion guru Tim Gunn touted its virtues and told every woman that a trench was one of the 10 must haves in their wardrobe. For the 2009 spring season the trenchcoat is still holding ground but the jacket, almost any jacket, has become the essential piece and has moved from staple to accessory so you’ll probably want to stock up on a couple different and trendy jackets.

The leather jacket is a fashion favorite and is still worn with glam by stars such as Tori Spelling and others. But black leather isn’t the only way to make a statement, in fact this spring look for lighter colors in classic neutrals like the striking pantsuit topper worn by Penelope Cruz at the Oscar nominations. Both the leather jacket and a light spring jacket can be worn in a mix and match way with dozens of outfits giving you a stylish edge yet the comfort to take a cold spring chill.

I think the cutest look to come around in a while is the short kimono sleeve jackets that started cropping up last year. The kimono sleeve seems to be a counter reaction to the horrible balloon sleeve and skirt that didn’t look good on anyone. Luckily the kimono sleeve looks great on almost anyone and helps turn a simple pair of skinny jeans and a turtleneck into a stunning winner. I really like this Kenneth Cole jacket with short kimono sleeves. This is a fashion must have in my book.

One jacket style that you probably will see a little too much of this season is the boyfriend jacket. This is not one of my favorite looks, sure it’s cute when you’re dressed for a special occasion and you are freezing in a sleeveless dress and your sweet boyfriend drapes his jacket over your shoulders – and why shouldn’t he, he’s probably wearing a long sleeved shirt after all. But when you buy yourself a long jacket and try to pair it in a mismatch way with an outfit it just smacks of trying too hard.
