The Los Angeles Lakers are deep in the playoff race and many celeb come out to Staples Center to watch them play. Jack Nicholson might be the Lakers biggest celebrity fan, but Pamela Anderson loves her Lakers too.
Pamela wore a slouchy sweater over her tanktop at the game earlier this week. The sweater is cute but she’s still a fashion disaster.
No, I’m not talking about the fact she needs to close her legs … I’m talking about the boots!

This outfit could have worked with almost any shoe from a flat sandal to a summer slide to a casual skimmer. But not dark grey ankle boots with brown trim! *Sigh*

Many times we see them all dolled up for appearances and events, but celebrities are just like the rest of us in a lot of ways. Here are photos of Rachel Bilson and Hilary Duff in casual wear. Both ladies are wearing jeans and looking fantastic.
I love Rachel’s scarf! The red and blue gives the rest of her outfit a much-needed splash of color. Though her brown leather gloves would have been better in black, overall she has a great casual look. I really love her studded shoes, which are becoming increasingly popular.
Here Hilary Duff leaves the hair salon and I have to say her long locks look fantastic. Her layered necklaces and big handbag really complement the rest of her casual ensemble. However, one thing that is really out of place though is her shoes!
Though I love these menswear inspired lace-ups, they really shouldn’t be worn with such skinny jeans. If her jeans just had a little flare or a bootleg cut, they would have draped nicely over her patent booties. They are very cute - just not with the rest of her outfit.

Here Keri Russell and executive producer Ricki Lake laugh it up at their arrival at the New York Premiere of “The Business of Being Born” last week.
While the girls looking like they are having a great time, I was surprised that Keri was so casual, as Ricki was so dolled up.
Keri is a beautiful woman but at least could have put on some makeup and a dress for the event. At least she was wearing a cute pair of criss-cross strappy sandals. Though her casual outfit would have fared better with some black booties.
Ricki looks very adorable though. Her black patent peep-toe pumps coordinate nicely with her black dress. And I really loved the big gold earrings.
The dress could have been a little more fitted for more taste, but at least she bothered to get dressed up! I’ll give Keri the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she decided to drop by at the last minute just to offer her friend Ricki some support at the premiere and didn’t have time to get prettied up.

Ashlee Simpson looked cute here as she visited MTV’s “TRL” earlier this week.
Obviously, she was going for the 80’s look but Ashlee could have left the arm warmers at home. If you are wearing a sleeveless top and arm warmers, you should probably just put on a sweater.
Nevertheless, she’s adorable. The layered tops, leggings and ankle boots are terrific tribute to the fashions of the decade.
Ankle boots stand the test of time season to season. This winter, you can wear these booties with everything from jeans to a mini dress with tights.
It was supposed to be Ashlee’s big day as her “Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)” video debuted. However, she was overshadowed by all the 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy talk.
