Salma Hayek at De Grisogono’s Hollywood Dominos

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek was one of the many celebrities that attended De Grisogono’s Hollywood Dominos Benefiting The Art Of Elysium in Beverly Hills.

Though I normally like Salma, I hate this look. Her lipstick is too bright, that necklace is gaudy and, though her shoes are cute, they look like they are too big for her. It looks like she has about an inch between her heel and the back of the shoe. Weird! I’m sure Salma can afford her own shoes, so she shouldn’t be wearing someone else’s.

Nevertheless, there are some decent things about her ensemble. The hairstyle is becoming; I’m getting used to her with the the shorter look. The velvet dress is nice. It flatters her figure without being too tight or too short.

I adore her black patent clutch and slick patent leather shoes (if they fit). I’m not usually a fan of fishnet stockings (except in the bedroom) but Salma wears them well.

If she would have left that awful yet expensive necklace at home, I probably wouldn’t have nitpicked the rest of her outfit. What do you think?

Salma Hayek in Black and White

12. December 2007 | Filed under Peep-Toes, Salma Hayek, pumps

Salma HayekSalma Hayek looks great here in black and white. We haven’t seen too much of Salma since she gave birth to her baby Valentina, but it doesn’t look like she’s lost any of her style sense.

Here she wears a black sweater and white skirt, along with black and white peep toe pumps. Black and white shoes are very trendy right now and perfect to transition into winter.

The versatility of black and white shoes allows you to wear them with everything from a casual daytime outfit to some of the hottest evening wear.

Some of my favorite shoes right now are these J.Renee black and white peep-toe wedge pumps. The white trim and heel are very chic.

These shoes can go from the boardroom to happy hour with no problem at all.

If you are looking for a flat shoe, Gabriella Rocha offers a black patent leather flat that features white contrast stitching and a very adorable black and white bow.
